For Lip Perfector:

To make your lips look visually fuller, darken the corners of the lips while leaving the center lighter.
If lips are properly moisturized before applying, the lip pencil will last longer.
Using a lip pencil under lipstick or gloss extends the wear of the lipstick.

For brush:

Before setting makeup with dry products, it's very important to smooth out any creases (using a clean sponge or your finger). If the creases aren't smoothed out, they will be set in place and will be very difficult to remove later.
